Shawndra and John O : Just Because
That is a picture taken from John and Shawndra Onwuchekwa’s wedding taken a year ago. John and Shawndra ’s wedding was my 3rd one to ever shoot, back when I was still learning all the ropes (not that I have learned all of them, always room to grow!) for weddings. I was so grateful for them trusting me to capture their day even when they didn’t even know me! What a blessing.
Now one year later they contacted me again to take some pictures for their one year anniversary! I was blown away and thankful they would have me back to take more pictures. John and Shawndra are truly a delight to work with, they are probably the easiest couple I have worked with when shooting. They are laid-back, in love, and ready to have some fun with pictures.
Thank ya’ll so much for having me take your pictures again, and I hope to see you again for your 2 year anniversary! Enjoy the pictures!

The last two are my favorite!!! I LOVE the ‘through-the-chair’ angle. And I love the differing focus points (background vs. foreground) between the two. Of course, all are great.

I loved your work from their wedding and these pictures are just as wonderful. My favorite is the one where they are each on a wall. Great perspective and angle! You have a wonderful talent!

two pictures. the one with Shawn facing away from the camera and holding on to John. FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL. then the one with Shawn in the foreground and John out of focus holding her hand. i have no words.
