This is the new blog for Jared Rey | Photography! My hope is that this can be a place to show off my current work for clients and future clients along with being a resource for photographers.

I am officially booked through August for weddings. Prices will change in August for all sessions and weddings. Thanks to all my friends and family who are supporting me through this career!
My name is Jared Rey Hernandez. I have graduated from the University of North Texas in December 2006 with a degree in Visual Arts Studies. I am currently an art teacher for Mesquite ISD for grades 3rd-6th.
I got married on 7/7/07 at 7:00 p.m. to a beautiful women inside and out named Jessica. My wonderful wife has been 100% supportive of my goal/dream of becoming a photographer, she has been so encouraging and truly believes I can do it. I can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am, God has blessed me immensely with this woman.
My goal right now is to be able to become a professional photographer shooting weddings and various types of portraiture. I have been shooting since I was a senior in high school in 2001 and have remained interested ever since. I find so much joy behind the camera capturing special moments that people share together and I can only hope that I can do this full time one day.

Oh Jared, I really liked these.
Great shoot. My favs of this bunch? The bridal shots getting ready were lovely. The one with the entire wedding party together, the funny one where they are tugging at each other…awesome!!
