David and Yvonne Martinez got married on September 6, 2008 in Garland, TX. It was a beautiful day at a small/intimate location. I had a great time spending time with everyone and Yvonne is just the type of person who makes everyone feel loved and special. So the whole day and night was very sweet and you could feel all the love shared between her and her family. Thank you so much Yvonne for letting me take part in your day. I usually am not the type of person to say much about a particular wedding or about any post in general. I like to keep things short and sweet and then let people enjoy the images. But I am finding it hard to do that in this case. I have so much to say about this couple and this wedding day. I promise not to write an essay, but bare with me here. Aaron and Denise are some of the most laid-back, sweet, genuine, and fun couple that one could ever meet. I have known Denise for over 5 years now and when I first met Aaron and saw the type of guy he was I knew they were a perfect match. I think it is impossible to be around these two and not have a good time and good laugh. It was so hard to narrow this post to 20 images, so I went a little over. It is going to be clear for everyone to see the type of people that Aaron and Denise are through these images, and you will also be able to see the type of personalities their full wedding party was as well! There were so many fun, unique images captured during this day that it was so funny going through them. All the girls on the left were ‘flower girls’ and the ones on the right were her bridesmaids. The flower girls were actually lantern girls, which you will see soon, but if you ask Denise she consider all the girls in her wedding her bridesmaids. Oh and my wife was a flowergirl, she is the hot, tall blonde one

Luke and Tori got married on 8/16/08 in Denton,TX at Luke’s house which almost feel like you are in a forest because you are surrounded by all trees. The day ended up being a great day because it was raining all week and on heir wedding day it remained cloudy but not a drop of rain fell to the ground. It was such a great wedding to be apart of and I was honored to get to spend the day with them and capture everything. Tori’s wedding dress looked amazing as you will see in the pictures and I was surprised when she told me she bought the dress online from China without even seeing the dress in person! It looked beautiful online and that was enough for Tori, and it worked out great. Here are some of my favorite images from their day, slideshow to follow soon. Enjoy!

Consider it a blessing to have it 80 degrees on your wedding day in Texas in the middle of August!

Well folks, I am back from my trip to New York and Canada. I got to see some amazing things while I was on my mission trip in New York. There are some great ministries and churches serving the people of New York, and it was great to see God at work in the lives of people. Canada was just plain beautiful, you can’t get much better than big huge beautiful green trees, cool weather, and lakes that have water that is actually clear enough to see to the bottom! Can’t find that hear in Texas that is for sure! I had a very relaxing time, though I did find it hard to be away from high speed internet, which wasn’t hard to figure out if you were following me on Twitter, haha.

Shannon Sewell made a post about Jessica and I on her blog yesterday about her time here in Texas and teaching me all about how she does what she does. I still can’t believe I met her and can now call her a friend! Pretty sweet deal. Go check out her stuff if you haven’t already. She is an amazing portrait photographer. Plus you can see the pictures she took of Jessica and I, which we LOVE. Definitely going to start getting awesome photographer to take our pictures every year.

Okay okay enough blabbing. This post is about Chris and Emily. This is one of my favorite weddings to date. They have some awesome pictures in this slideshow so I think you should all check it out.
