Thought it was about time for another blog post, so here we go! Meet Rebecca and her husband Chris, Rebecca teaches 1st grade at the same elementary school I work at in Mesquite. It can be hard starting out your business and spreading the word that you can do photography for people and my first attempt letting Rebecca know left her thinking that I could draw pictures of her pregnant. So I think I have some work to do on my communication and delivery. In the end I finally got the point across that I would love the opportunity to do a maternity session and I got to show her some of my work and she agreed. One of my favorite parts about photography is being able to get introduced to a family and their home and getting to see all the plans they have made for their baby. I took these photos a few weeks ago and on April 15th at 12:39 p.m. Ella Marie Mclain was introduced into the world! Enjoy the pictures!

I had the pleasure of shooting another maternity shoot yesterday, and I was so excited about how the pictures turned out I wanted to share some of my favorites as a sneak peak!

Meet Lori Turley, she is an assistant principal in Mesquite,TX. Lori and her husband invited me out to their beautiful home and we spent some time shooting in different rooms of the house. The baby room was adorable and they had just got done hanging the stars in the room right before I got there. I think baby Blake has a great room prepared for himself! Enjoy the pictures Lori!

These are from my first maternity shoot of Lindsey and Matt Mcguire. Lindsey is friends with my wife Jessica. I was so excited to do these photos. Lindsey is the cutest pregnant momma around!
