I spoke about Netvibes in a previous post back in August. I wanted to talk about it again because Netvibes recently just released a new version of their online software. For those of you unfamiliar with Netvibes it is simple personal news aggregator for all your RSS feeds. In the new version they have allowed a user to let their personal RSS feed page be public for all to see and use. I have made a page of all the top wedding and portrait photographers along with any blogs that are useful for photographers. It was tough choosing the blogs but I decided to pick the cream of the crop when it comes to photographers I admire and seek inspiration. These blogs were not only chosen for their amazing photos but their unique blog designs, stepping away from the standard wordpress templates. If you are looking for inspiration and want to check out some photographers you may not know visit my Netvibes page :

This is in no way a conclusive list. If you are a photographer and know of other amazing photography blogs or resources that I have not listed let me know what they are and I will check them out.
I think other photographers should create similar pages so we can share all our favorite sites! Join in the fun!
Update:
It seems that the new netvibes is still a bit “buggy” and loses the tabs and categories that I save. So bare with my page and I will keep trying to keep it organized for everyone.

Just wanted to make a post for my fellow photographers out there who are checking the blog. My friend Patrick Daly introduced me to the website Reinvigorate.net that allows you to track the visitors who come to your site. Now there are plenty of trackers out there but this one has really impressed me. Here are just some of the features:

1) Real Time Visitor Stats
2) New/Returning Visitor Charts
3)Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Traffic Tracking
4) Visitor Details (Browser, Operating System, Browser)
5) Session Activity (What pages they were viewing)
6) Referrer Information (How people found your site)
Basically you can find out any information you would like besides the personal information of a visitor. Why is this information useful? No, not to be a stalker. But it can help you improve your site and it can let you know what people find useful and what type of people are finding your site. You could even find out what keywords people are typing inside search engines to find your blog. That alone could help you jump up in search engines if you know what type of words people are looking for when trying to find information.
It is a great website and worth checking out. It is in beta trial right now so you have to sign up and see if they will allow you to create an account. They even have software you can download for your Windows or Mac that will really allow you to track visitors in real time. The second some visit your site you will know! Now if you want to go that extreme, well the option is there. Hope you found this helpful!

I really want to go to a workshop! Hopefully soon. These all look awesome! You’ll have to throw a few light ’secrets’ my way.
