I had the pleasure of shooting Korey and Kelly’s wedding 2 weeks ago and now since the wedding has past I thought it would be a good time to share some of Kelly’s bridal portraits from our session together. We had this session at a church in Highland Park and I enjoyed every second! It was such a beautiful church and it was so great for them to allow us to shoot there. Here are a few of my favorites. I had the pleasure of spending my 3rd session with the Mclain family and take more pictures of baby Ella. I cannot believe how much she has grown over these past few months and how different she looks!

Kyle and Beth were married on October 11,2008 in Denton, TX. They had a beautiful wedding and it was so great to get to spend the day with them. Beth is probably one of the sweetest brides I have worked with yet, from the moment I met her before the wedding day I knew that it was going to be a great day. I also enjoyed getting to know Kyle on the wedding day, it was great to see how much he loved Beth, he never actually told me this but I could see it in the way he acted all the way up to the ceremony. Kyle let me know that he didn’t like being photographed, especially when it was just him, but he did it and he did it happily, because he knew Beth would love them, now that is the way to start a marriage! Thank you both so much for allowing me to capture our day. Enjoy these few images for now while I get the slideshow ready!

Time to share some more pictures with everyone! Trust me the problem is not having anything to post, it is more like having so much to edit that I don’t have time to post! So keep checking back a couple times a week because I promise I have plenty to share.

This shoot marks the first time that I got to use my Canon 5d, yep I upgraded to a semi-professional camera, time to step away from the consumer 30d camera and to bigger and better things. Now all I gotta do is save up for the 5d markii! I was so excited to use my new camera for this shoot and had everything ready to go and packed away, got in my car and drove out to the square in Forney, TX, I parked and got my case out and started getting my camera out and my lenses and what did I quickly realize? I forgot ALL of my memory cards! Oh my, was I not happy about forgetting something so simple and important. So I had to book it down the street to CVS and luckily they had ONE 2gb CF card and it was on sale. So I got lucky and didn’t have to drive all the way back home. Other than that little incident, getting to use the 5d was awesome! I love the look of all my images straight out of the camera. But I won’t bore everyone with those details, all you photographers know what I am talking about though! It is a whole new world.

This family is actually more of MY family. Andrea is the sister of Monica who I did family pictures for back in the summer. I love love love Andrea and Branden and of course Mikayla and Nyla, I feel so blessed to have family like this. We had a good time in the square in Forney, TX and we just walked around and found some cool little spots to shoot. Overall this was some good times! Enjoy the pictures.
